John is responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable functioning of the brokerage, investment and development operations. John also oversees the NAI MLG Commercial’s banking relationships and is responsible for raising equity investment dollars for MLG Capital deals.
Education
John received a B.A. in accounting as well as a B.A. in economics from the University of St. Thomas in 1985.
Background & Experience
Prior to joining NAI MLG Commercial, John spent four years as a partner in the Milwaukee office of BDO Seidman, LLP, a national and international public accounting and consulting firm. Prior to joining BDO Seidman, John spent more than 12 years in the Milwaukee office of Arthur Andersen.
Professional Affiliations & Designations
John is the chairman of the Marquette University accounting advisory board. He was a member of the board of directors of Nativity Jesuit Middle School, for over 12 years, serving as a member of the executive committee and as head of the finance committee. He also served as the past president of the board of directors of the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation. John is a licensed broker and member of the Commercial Association of Realtors. John is also a licensed CPA and member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
