Scope of Service Experience
As the Controller, Mike oversees all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, income taxes, budgeting, debt management and financial planning. Mike brought over four years of experience in real estate accounting to his position.
Education
Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant.
Background & Experience
Prior to joining NAI MLG Commercial, Mike served as a divisional controller for another real estate developer in the Milwaukee area. In that role, Mike was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting for regional divisions of that land developer/home builder. Prior to that role, Mike was a senior auditor for the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen. In that role, Mike was responsible for coordinating and overseeing financial statement audits of public and private companies from numerous industries, including real estate.
